"I've always been misunderstood because of how I look. Don't judge me by the cover, cuz I'm a real good book. So read into what you will, but see me as I am. The way I look is just a country girls idea of glam."
- Dolly Parton
I may not be the girl Dolly had in mind when she wrote that lyric, but it speaks to my soul regardless. My spirit can be found somewhere at the crossroads between Dolly's perseverance, The Cowardly Lion's cowardliness and your grandpa's penchant for black licorice jelly beans.
Born and raised outside of Philly, I moved to New York 6 years ago to attend NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Since graduation I've been lucky to work on a variety of plays, musicals and films both in and outside of NYC.
In addition to persuing my acting career, I currently work at Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. It has been incredibly rewarding to be a part of an organization that gives back to our community as well as helps saves lives all over the world.
